The guiding principles that shape our worlds, our players, and our staff.

1. Player‑First Philosophy

Every system, rule, and season is designed to maximize fairness, clarity, and long‑term enjoyment. No hidden mechanics. No silent nerfs. No favoritism.

2. Transparent Administration

  • All impactful admin commands are logged.
  • Logs are summarized and published regularly.
  • Admins may not play competitively on the servers they manage.

3. Clear Enforcement Path

  1. Warning: Player is informed of the issue.
  2. Documentation: Incident is logged with evidence.
  3. Action: Temporary or permanent penalties applied.
  4. Appeal: Player may request review by the Council.

4. Community Council

A rotating group of vetted players who review disputes, appeals, and major rule changes. Council members serve limited terms to prevent stagnation or bias.

5. Zero Pay‑to‑Win

Cosmetic support options may exist in the future, but no gameplay advantages will ever be sold. This is a core pillar of the Citadel ethos.
