Guidelines for fair combat, honorable conflict, and competitive integrity across Valkyrie’s Saga.
Combat must be intentional and legitimate.
Players may not exploit terrain glitches, desync, or unintended mechanics to gain an advantage in PvP. All engagements must occur through normal gameplay.
Everyone deserves a fair chance to re-enter the fight.
Repeatedly killing players at spawn points, respawn beds, or safe‑zone exits is prohibited. Allow players to re‑enter the world without harassment.
Leaving the game to avoid death is not allowed.
Logging out during active combat or imminent danger is considered combat logging. Repeat offenders may face penalties or item loss.
Sanctuaries must remain peaceful.
PvP is not allowed in designated safe zones. Attempting to bait players out of safe zones or abusing zone boundaries is prohibited.
Conflict must have purpose.
Repeatedly hunting the same player or clan without strategic reason is considered harassment. PvP must be tied to gameplay goals, not personal vendettas.
Winners take spoils — within reason.
Looting defeated players is allowed unless otherwise stated by seasonal rules. However, excessive corpse camping or preventing recovery without purpose is prohibited.
Balance ensures fair fights.
PvP encounters must respect the maximum group size defined for the current season. Bringing additional hidden players to overwhelm smaller groups is not allowed.
Conflict escalation must be reasonable.
Retaliation is allowed, but must remain proportional. Escalating a minor skirmish into a full‑scale clan war without cause may result in staff mediation.
